Farbmodulation bzw. Modulation der Farbe ist ein Begriff der Malerei, der auf eine Formulierung Paul Cézannes zurückgeht. Durch farbmodulatorische Prinzipien wird die Darstellung der Raumdimension bzw. der Raumillusion mittels harmonisch entwickelter Abänderungen der Farbtöne erzeugt. Die mathematische Perspektive und das Chiaroscuro werden in der Farbmodulation als untergeordnete Aspekte der Harmonie behandelt.

Somebody told me:"Born Zoila Augusta Emperatriz Chávarri del Castillo in 1922 in Callao, Peru, Sumac was a world-famous soprano known for her astonishing vocal range, which reportedly spanned more than four octaves. Her stage name means “how beautiful” in Quechua. She rose to international fame in the 1950s with her breakout album Voice of the Xtabay, which became a bestseller and topped the U.S. Billboard charts. Her music blended traditional Peruvian sounds with styles like mambo and Latin jazz. Sumac performed at major venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Hollywood Bowl, and she made history in 1951 as the first female Peruvian and Latin American singer to debut on Broadway. Known for her dramatic performances and elaborate costumes inspired by her claimed Incan ancestry, she captivated audiences worldwide. She also became the first Latin American woman to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960. Sumac passed away in 2008, leaving behind a legacy as Peru’s most successful and internationally recognized singer, with over 40 million records sold."
