Zapadna Australija Danas. Ponedeljak Dvadesetprvi

Beneath the ochre cliffs of Western Australia’s Kimberley region, a haunting figure gazes out from the stone—a Wandjina spirit, painted over 4,000 years ago by the Aboriginal people. With wide, staring eyes and no mouth, the Wandjina is believed to bring rain and creation, a sacred being etched in time. In 2023, a team of archaeologists stood awestruck, capturing its details with modern tools yet unable to decode the full mystery. These paintings aren’t just art—they are living echoes of an unbroken culture, guardians of Dreamtime lore, and timeless storytellers etched in rock by the first peoples of this land.
