             The Mystery of Colossal Rock Blocks            
"If there's a place on Earth where one might question whether buildings belong to our civilization, it's certainly China's Yangshan Quarry. As you can see from the photos, the mysterious miners of this quarry, whoever they were, were extracting three different blocks of rock from the rock. The Estela Base is 30.35 meters long, 13 meters thick and 16 meters high and weighs 16,250 tons. The body measures 49.4 meters long, 10.7 meters wide and 4.4 meters thick and weighs 8,799 tons. The head of the sparrow measures 10.7 meters high, 20.3 meters wide, 8.4 meters thick and weighs 6,118 tons. Together, the three megaliths of Yangshan weigh more than 30,000 tons. The famous sunken transatlantic ship, the Titanic, weighed about 46,000 tons. You can then draw the comparison. And we can't forget that it was all done on the mountain. That's right, they built it thinking they could carry 30,000 tons of monolithic rock into the valley and not break it! In addition, millions of tons of material were apparently removed to extract monoliths from the rock."
