On
the night of February 28, skywatchers will witness a rare celestial
alignment as Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune appear
lined up across the sky. This
dazzling event happens when the planets gather along the ecliptic, the
Sun’s path across the sky. While the alignment isn’t a perfect line in
space, from Earth, it will look like the planets are gently drifting
together in a graceful arc.
