Östergötland & Oshun & Vinča Culture Owls ::::: Operation Sea Storm = O.S.S. = Old Snake Settlers :::: Location of White Serbia in the 7th century ::::

"Oshun is the Yorùbá Orisha (Deity) of the sweet or fresh waters (as opposed to the salt waters of Yemaya). She is widely loved, as She is known for healing the sick and bringing fertility and prosperity, and She especially watches over the poor and brings them what they need. As Orisha of love, Oshun is represented as a beautiful, charming and coquettish young woman. In some tales She is said to be a mermaid, with a fish's tail.

The Yorùbá clans inhabit parts of western central Africa, in present-day Nigeria. Oshun is the Goddess of the river of the same name, and She is especially worshipped in river-towns. During Her yearly festival, She is said to choose one or more women dancers to descend into
(much like participants in Vodou ceremonies may be "mounted" or "possessed" by a Lwa). These women then take new names in honor of Oshun and are thereafter consulted as healers.

Oshun was taught divination with cowrie shells by Obatala, the first of the created Orishas, and then She brought the teaching to humans. She was at one time the wife of Shango, the Orisha of storms, as was Oya, the Orisha of the winds and tempests. Oshun is also said to be the mother of the birds or fishes.

With the African diaspora, Oshun was brought to the Americas, and adopted into the pantheons that branched out of the African traditions. In the Brazilian religion of Candomblé, which retains close ties with the Yorùbá religion, as well as in Cuban Santeriá, She is called Oxum. In Haitian Vodou She is an inspiration for Erzulie or Ezili, also a Deity of water and love.

Oshun, like the other Orishas, has a number associated with Her—five; a color—yellow or amber; and a metal—gold or bronze. The peacock and the vulture are sacred to Her. Offerings to Oshun include sweet things such as honey, mead, white wine, oranges, sweets, or pumpkins, as well as perfume.

Oshun in a reading indicates swee
tness and good cheer, beauty and flowing joy."

I learned more from my grandparents, especially from my grandma Dragica Vranic (later Dragica Gvozden after she married my Grandpa Vladimir Gvozden), about spirituality than from my parents. Vranic comes from Vrana & means Crow in Serbian. My Grandma Dragica escaped the Croatian slaughterers during WW2 in the Kozara Mountains with her family & they had to live in the woods for many months. The dad of my mom Petar Buric (Buric comes from Bura & means Strong Wind/Wind of the Sea/Sea Storm/ or simply: Storm) was rescued by the German S.S. a few minutes before Croatian Ustasa wanted to hang him. He was in Tito's army & very tall & had blue eyes (like my mother & her mother) & the S.S. guys like/liked that. He had to work 4 years in a wood timber mill in Bavaria (1941-1945).  My mother's mom Deva Ribic (later Buric of course) waited 4 years & had no clue if she will ever see him again or where he is/was until he came back in 1945. Ribic comes from Riba & means Fish. After WW2  my grandma & grandpa moved to Backi  Jarak in Serbia/Vojvodina. Mmother Mirjana was born 21.6.1950 in Backi Jarak. I was born 14.6.1977 in Novi Sad, tha capital of Vojvodina & I'm a single right now & I was never married & I don't have any kids, but I hope that some day in the future this will happen too :) ... omg I love kids :D ... & I'm 195 cm tall & I have dark brown hair & green eyes (with a little bit orange in the middle + 93 kg now).  In 1956 my father & his sister & their parents moved from North Bosnia to Rijeka in Croatia & in 1967 to  Hannover in Germany.  My granpa Vladimir Gvozden lived in the capitol of  Lower Saxony already since 1966. OK :) ok that's enough!... & now the weather :)

No :D LOL just kidding :)
