M.C.: The Goddess in Christianity & Judaism 12/22/2012

The Goddess in Christianity & Judaism 12/22/2012
 Aeon Byte Gnostic Radio

M.C.: "The Divine Feminine was prominent in early Christianity and Judaism. Her veneration was public and took many aspects across The Roman Empire. Early Christians and Hellenistic Jews understood that the Godhead held both feminine and masculine aspects. Women held a higher rank in all matters, even leadership roles. This is even betrayed by the words of Jesus Christ and Paul, as well as many Church Fathers and apocryphal scriptures. Yet the Divine Feminine, along with Sophia, was slowly erased from Christendom during the rise of Orthodoxy. We take a penetrating view of the Christian Goddesses and the terrible impact of her dismissal on the psyche of mankind even felt today."
